Odd Girl Out: show 37

Manon Duursma; photo by Val Phoenix One milestone (the show’s first live Skype interview), accompanied by some technical hitches, made for a lively show. Girl In a Thunderbolt was the Skypee, speaking about her recent gig at Ladyfest Norwich, her new album and the loss of her beloved hat.

In the archive interview, Manon Duursma, former guitarist for Malaria!, commented on her hopes for her young daughter to realise her creative ambitions. Punk mums rule.
